Bing Places is a web mapping service owned by Microsoft. It was originally called the MSN Virtual Earth. On a monthly average, Bing Places are used by 600k visitors.Bing lets you add services which are done at the customer locations (plumbing, electrical repair etc.) as well as location based businesses (restaurants, dealerships etc.).

Following are the steps to add/claim your business listings on Bing Places
1) Go to Bing Places and Click on New User.
2) Select an Option to List, Either via GMB or the Manual Method
3) (i) Import from GMB
(ii) List Manually
4) Check Your Business Information
5) Verify Your Business Listings

Step 1: Go to Bing Places.
Visit Bing Places & click on New User
Step 2: Select an Option:
Now you have 2 options to proceed with
- Import from Google My Business now
- Claim or add your business manually
Consider the following factors before selecting an option:
1- Data Privacy
The entire set of data associated with your GMB profile is being shared to Bing.
2- Ease of Setting Up
If you import your listing via GMB, all the data will automatically be synced over a period of time.


Step 3: (i) Import from GMB option
Once the request is granted, data associated with your GMB profile will directly be synced to Bing. After that, in the following page, select Primary Business Function and Type Of Business, and cross check all the other business data.
You will be directed to login with your Microsoft / Google+ / Facebook / Bing Account now
Then you will be verified automatically & also you can skip step 4,5 & 6.
Step 3: (ii) Manual method
Search for your specific Business Name and Zip Code/Phone Number along with the country.
If your business listing is already available, click on Claim & Edit Business Details. If your business information is not present, enter all the relevant details as asked by Bing.


Step 4: Check Your Business Information:
Unless you’re logged into Bing at this point, you’ll be taken to a login page. Once you’ve logged in, you will be directed to a page where you could enter your business information where most of the information will be auto filled. Fill in the rest of the details and verify all the information once you’re done.
Step 5: Verify Your Business Listing
Now you can choose the verification method (email, call or SMS) based on your preference.
Once the verification is complete, you will be sent a notification, stating that Bing Places has successfully verified the business which you’ve added/claimed.
